caegories are not appearing at all Empty caegories are not appearing at all

when i go to the admin panl and then go to the forum section, i see my categories but there in these ()parentheseis.
i dont know how to get them onto the forum for veiwing!
please please please help me

Because they must have forums within them.

When you see the category name with ( ) around it, look to the right...you will see a green "+". Click that and create a subforum.

um it didnt work but maybe can i have somebody become a member on my site. then theyl turn into a admin because of me and maybe you can figure it out

It might be the phpBB thing. Go to Style>and then on the side click "Change Version">change to phpBB2.thats what i use
