Jquery for phpbb3

ive seen a lot of people talking about this and to edit inside the template under the display>general template but this issue is when i click on general for the template it says...only templates of phpbb2 or punbb versions will be affected..and it wont let me do anything...any ideas or do i do all this in the css section?

Link to a script file through the Site Description, or create a script file in the Announcement block. forumotion loads jQuery 1.3.2 (the last truly stable release) on every board, so you can use jQuery 1.3.2 functions in your script.
