New users can't register
Greetings,
I have my forum set up so that new users can register but cannot view the forum until I approve them.
So, they'll register, receive the email confirming that they've registered and an email will be sent to them when they're approved...and that's it.
I can't see any new users registering on the forum.
I don't get an email advising that someone new has registered and requires authorization to view the forum.
We have 30 members currently, is there a cap/limit somewhere in the settings with this?

Btw I tried registering myself under another name and seperate email and nothing happens...I'm confused.

I think you just turn to No User Allowed off, You must turn it on.

I think I figured out a workaround.
Summary of problem: I wasn't able to see new users on the user list, nor was I receiving emails that they've registered, nor was their screen name indicated at the bottom of the forum advising who the newest user was...
Temporary resolution:
So, I smashed my comp-j/k...I went into:
*User & Groups
*User
*Inactive Users
*Clicked on new user names
*Activated user
Refreshed the forum and lo' and behold "The newest registered user is Allan".
In the odd chance that this happens to someone else; this is a workaround that helped me. Though I still haven't figured out why I don't get notification emails for a new user.
There must be something else...once I figure it out I'll post here again.
