Anyone Play Minecraft?

Hey everyone, anyone ever heard of the game Minecraft? I got it a month or so ago and have started to host my own server so that I can play with some friends. Forumotion people are generally nice... so why not look here? Just post what your username on minecraft is and head on over to my server (url below). There isnt a website for it yet... but you can just enter it into the IP address field and it will sign you on.

If you dont have this game yet... get it! It will be the best under $20 game you will ever get.

The YouTube video looked good, but the game itself looked boring, well, that's just my opinion.

I would save that $20 until I have enough to purchase Black Ops instead,

It looks quite boring actually...

And Black Ops is more of a rental, fun game, but little long-term value.

I play minecraft, it might look boring on the outside, but once you start to play, you instantly get hooked.

Yes, that's a great game. I play it everyday. There's a lot of variety in the game! I highly recommend it!

I got the _____ version of Minecraft, along with a server. Its only meant for those who like to create stuff, but I think you knew that ...

I own Black Ops, and I haven't played it in months, it just wasn't as "addicting" to play like MW2 (for me).
But yeah...Minecraft is pretty cool, its better with friends.

Minecraft is around the mix of a Lego Builder. Everything consists of 1 meter blocks. Your player is 2 meters in height, as well are doors. If you have ever played Runescape or an RTS with an rpg feel this game is in that category. You can mine ores, build armor to survive the nighttime creeps, cook food to heal. The building aspect is endless as you can make different colored blocks of wool, glass blocks for windows, use materials such as granite, gold, diamond, coal. This game is a one of a kind.

Could you explain your server alittle more? ex: Survival Mode

It could reject connections when the minecraft.net master-server is unreachable.
Another possibility could be your whitelist. You must put the people that should be able to connect in this list.

i not playing but i heard many times about this.

I have played it quite a bit. It is like legos, as someone said... but with dying! lol.
The game seems like the graphics are outdated- but it still is a very addicting game.

I've played it for smthing like 5 months and i got to say it's pretty good game also my MINECRAFT house burned in fire xD

Yep, I play Minecraft (thank god for OpenJDK on Linux!).

Very fun game. Though I hate getting killed by skeletons and creepers
