how do i prevent people from copying photos/posts from my forum

any suggestions?

If it can be seen or heard on the Internet, then it can be copied, as there is lots of software available from the Internet to do just that. Although it doesn't make it legal to redistribute, alter or claim as your own something that does not belong to you when you have not been given permission to do so by the owner.

You can put a copyscape icon on your forum to warn the guests/members that the images are copyrighted:

I tried that and it makes no difference but for some reason it has caused a few links to move around on my site which I quite like, so thank you for that!
