So when you post a reply it goes to that page where it says something like 'your message has been sent succesfully' (i think it says that) and it has the links to the thread or the homepage.

Is there any way to get rid of that?

So when you click send it just goes straight back to the thread. but obviously with your new post at the bottom.

I don't think so, but you can edit what it says with templates.
