Most users ever online "counter" not working

Hello, my "most users ever online" counter--- is not working. There have been many times there have been more users online at once---than it has listed. It seems as though it is stuck.

I have it set to display members connected in last 24 hours--yes. But the COUNTER is not working and has not for awhile--it is stuck on a certain number and not changed....like it is stuck on 9--and right now there is 15 users in last 24 hours.

Well no one really knows when that counter goes up, it will just add up when the forum contains a data from an active member, it doesn't mean that a member has been online for 2 days etc. it will add up, it takes time Wink

I'm sure the counter will go up from time to time when the members becomes more active.

So if I understand you correctly...it does not go up just because there are more users online, BUT it goes up by users posting something., which makes since because not all users online are posting, some are browsing.....silly me, don't try to figure this stuff out without a hot cup of java FIRST Exclamation
