Thanks button questions

Hi, i have a few things i would like to try and do with the thanks option.

First, i want to make it so that when someone thanks someone, then that thank will be added on to a number in their profile. A profile field called 'Thanked' which when thanked will go up. So when someone is thanked for the first time it will then go to 1.
I originally thought the best way to do this would be to set up the reputation system, rename the field to 'Thanked' and make it so the Thank button adds 1 point to it, and then get rid of the + and - signs, but i can't get rid of them.

Secondly i want to make it so other people can see who thanked who, so when someone is thanked it then says something on that thanked post like; 'The OP has thanked this user' ... or something.

There is a area to see how many thanks you got. Go to Stats in your profile.

Everything else is not possible.

but the problem is that a person can't be thanked twice or thrice...on a single useful post; by different users of coarse
