    News widget not showing Empty News widget not showing

    The News widget for the portal is not showing. Any advice.

    Also, How do you get personal widgets to show content from a particular forum thread?

    Hi,

    Please check this things:
    Admin panel > Modules > Portal Management > Structure > Modify the news > Pick for the 'Board of news'/forum that you would like to show on the news and also check the other things there.

    Also check the permissions > See if the rights are checked for all > Save

    And content is showing? You don't happen to have two news? Because you can only have one.

    All other widgets are showing along with the content. News widget nor its content is showing. It is the only widget labeled news.
