Solved new forum and categories - rules forumotion

    Post by kostadene 25/4/2011, 02:06

    good evening

    my forum is

    http://greek-kostas.com/

I create categories and subcategories for the discussion of music, games, programs, computers(problems)

    even generic discussions!

    I put news jokes

they believe do not violate the rules of forumotion right?

I want to put in and sponsors forums to advertise my forum on other websites!

    these sponsors must be the forumotion;
according to what criteria should make their sponsors?

and then I want a class with videos allowed?

Sorry but I do not want to be struck off or be banned from my forum in the eyes of forumotion

    Thanks

    * Sorry for my bad English! Cool

As long as your aren't provide sexual, nude or free videos that aren't yours you'll be fine.

Sponsorship can be anyone. Don't see this in the Terms of Service of being bad or good.

YouTube and Vimeo, Google Videos are fine.

If you are posting videos that is copyright content, then you could get in trouble.

Ask the exact stuff you want to post, we can say which one is allowed & which is not.

    2) I don't think you can post video songs, they could be copyrighted.
    3) Discussion on programs, films, etc is fine.
    4) Thats fine

this is another one of those misconceptions

yutube videos are fine it dont natter if they are music vids or not.
Youtube provides embed codes for uploaded content from youtube to be posted on other sites.

So this means you are not responsible for any videos that are uploaded to youtube. If it is content that violate copyrights, then it is youtubes responsibility to remove the content and take any actions against the persons account that has uploaded the materials.

However, any materials inappropriate for 13 year old would not be tolerated and would be the responsibility of the forums admin not to allow such content to be permitted on the forum. If a forums admin was allowing any such inappropriate materials for minors between 13 to 18 years of age, then this would be in violation. Also keep in mind forumotion forums are public and are free forum hosting for the public. So even if you had a forum that all your members were of the age of 18 years or older. it would still be a violation if allowing such content because the legal age to have or join a forumotion forum is 13 years of age or older.

So youtube, google, veoh what ever the host,You are not responsible for any copyright violations that someone else has uploaded to host and is offered to the public to be shared as embed videos or links on other sites. But, you have to be sure you have nothing offensive or sexually explicit in anyway or you would be liable for allowing it .Basically you must keep your forums content on a PG-13 rating level.
Other then that if someone wants to make a complaint about a video that may be in copyright violations? Then they would have to flag and or report it to the host it was uploaded to, thus any forumotion founder can not be responsible or to be held liable.

purpose of the forum is my fun and discussion!

is not pornography and immorality in order to break a rule! if you dropped a video to my attention will immediately be removed and the user will eat a warning ... or ban!

So the so-called sir kirk I can Post if any other inappropriate content where not answering all ages should be struck off?

tell me just to know to make some rule in my forum!

sorry if I translated something wrong or do not know English well and put in my google and translate!

This is something you have to determine on what rules you want to add,
Just have all the basic rules that most forums have,

Read some of the rules other members have on their forums to get a better idea.

Freeware programs, do you have license to distribute those softwares? If not, you cannot.
