UPDATE : New WYSIWYG editor, new widgets, and more!
UPDATE : New WYSIWYG editor, new widgets, and more! |
Hello, In order to continuously improve our services and to bring you the best in the world of forums, we offer you today a new update some fresh new features. Without making you wait any longer, here is the content of this update: 1. The new WYSIWYG editor: In continuation of our strategy of listening to complaints from our users, and respond to complaints we received after its launch, we decided to go back and deactivate the message editor for the moment. We will get back to you with the editor as soon as we get it stabilized. Thank you for your understanding and we apologize for the inconvenience. 2. New widgets: New widgets to see who and what's hot and trendy on your forum. Nothing better to motivate your members! 3. Traffic exchange optimization: In continuation of our efforts to offer forums intuitive and cutting edge technology, we performed an optimization of our recent feature for traffic exchange. That, in order to improve its functioning by making it more relevant: D For this, a new option to assign permissions in connection with this feature made its appearance in your admin panel>> General>> Traffic exchange Thanks to all the community for inspiring us with all your great ideas! Best, Forumotion Team |

Re: UPDATE : New WYSIWYG editor, new widgets, and more!
Looking good - is there a way to change the background colour? my forum has a black background...
Re: UPDATE : New WYSIWYG editor, new widgets, and more!
Putting source into code view rather than WYSIWYG, grays out the toolbar buttons. That's a bummer!
There's no display auto line return in WYSIWYG. It puts 1000 characters on one line, unless I hit enter.mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
then it cuts off and doesn't display that which I typed beyond the editor box right side.
Spell check add-ons don't work in FF or IE

Re: UPDATE : New WYSIWYG editor, new widgets, and more!
Well, if you have many emoticons it is not possible to see all of them, no matter how you move the window. Please fix it.

Re: UPDATE : New WYSIWYG editor, new widgets, and more!
Yeah fully agree about the emoticons and we have lost half of ours so how do we fix that !!!
Re: UPDATE : New WYSIWYG editor, new widgets, and more!
Is there on option to use the old one again? It doesn't fit into the look of my forum at all.
Re: UPDATE : New WYSIWYG editor, new widgets, and more!
It stinks! This editor is annoying! I can't encode the text. Where is font IMPACT? That's stupid. I want old back!

WYSIWYG editor looks great, but sorry - a lot of members in my forum don't like it.
I know, that's silly, but can be it changed to the old one?

Re: UPDATE : New WYSIWYG editor, new widgets, and more!
Also, there seems to be a problem on the "quote" and "multi quote" on Internet Explorer.
Re: UPDATE : New WYSIWYG editor, new widgets, and more!
I don't like it.I cannot just write [img] link [img] (I didnt add / specialy to show what I mean) now I know just click on special symbol and paste link but that was for me annoying.More annoying is that WYSIWYG make forced space between lines for example:
Now I pressed enter, instead of letters be exacly under that what I writed they are landed like i pressed enter twice which on my forum is looking horrible. And new wyswig is not in background color.
It wuld be nice to have option that allows change wyswig in that previus one.

Re: UPDATE : New WYSIWYG editor, new widgets, and more!
The emoticon box is a problem for our forum too. And all the entered text is double-spaced now. How do I change that to single-spaced?
EDIT: Found out that the double-spacing only happens when you hit Enter. It's still a bummer though - we have a lot of poetry on the board; there you need the hard line breaks, and it looks awful double spaced. So if you could please please fix that...

Re: UPDATE : New WYSIWYG editor, new widgets, and more!
Thanks for your feedbacks, we are looking into all the issues you have mentioned.
At this time it is not planned to have an option to go back to the old editor, I'm sorry about that.

Re: UPDATE : New WYSIWYG editor, new widgets, and more!
Well as long as i can get all the emoticons back i will be happy with that xx
Re: UPDATE : New WYSIWYG editor, new widgets, and more!
Help...Some of my members cannot leave comments! Is there an option to go back to the old toolbar in comment box?
Re: UPDATE : New WYSIWYG editor, new widgets, and more!
My members are complaining. Also, I don't care much for the 'similiar topics' at the bottom of threads that link to other forums. Can we eradicate that?
