    Is the color of the "New Private Message"-link the same as "Hover Link"? bwi

    Well... In the navigation, there is a link, saying: "You have no new messages".

    When you have new messages, it turns orange.

    so you mean how to change the color of the "You have no message"? or when someone PM you there will a pop a box says "you have a message waiting for you".

    Neither. The link should change color, when you get a new message.
