user activation
My forum is set so new users activation enabled , but when a user joins , i get a email informing me of the new user , but he/she is not active ? and i have to activate in the control panel ? so it seems that user activation is not working ?

There are two settings involved here:
> User activation // Manual activation: Which allows you to either let users activate themselves or that you do it
> Be informed of new registrations: Which sens an e-mail to you each time a new user registers

as i said it is set for the user to activate themself BUT it does not allow and when i visit the admin panel , new users are waiting for activation , from me admin ? so the user activation is not working !

Ofcourse not they don't access the Admin Panel
They have an e-mail sent to the address they entered, that e-mail has a link to activate thei account

Well , there is the way you can also Active User account.
Admin panel > User&Group> Inactive User.
You will see the list that show all inactive User.
Admin panel > User&Group> Inactive User.
