Why can't I get the gallery on my site?

I have got the calander on my site and want to add the gallery. However, it doesn't want to work for me!!

Can anyone help please?

Did you active already the Gallery ?

Go to ACP > Modules > Gallery > Configuration > Show the Gallery: Set to yes .

Yes, I did all that and enabled the gallery widget but still don't see the gallery on the home page.

What exactly am I looking for? I'm assuming it's a random selection of members photos!!

You want to have like a scrolling of pictures that belongs on your gallery in your homepage ?

I thought that's what the gallery was!!

If it's not, can you explain what it is please?
