Re: Changing username colours.
Hi,
you have one default color for names. If you want to have multiple colored names users must be in groups.
You have a tutorial here on how to do that

Re: Changing username colours.
Thanks for the reply Nera.
OK, I understand.
Can the default colour be changed by me to, say white? If so where do I find it. I've looked in Display>Pictures and Colours>Colours but can't see anything that appears to pertain to user names.
Thanks.

Re: Changing username colours.
It should be in AP >> Display >> Colors >> Link color I think. I don't use it often :S
If you want a CSS code can you tell me what is your forum version?

Nice one Nera. It's actualy 'visited link colour', but it's sorted now. Thanks a million.
Erm!!! I'm all very new to this so have no idea what a CSS code is or why I would need one. Can you explain please?
Al.

Sorry if I sound dumb but I don't know what you mean!! Where did I double or triple post?
OK. So admin colour can be changed 'as a group'?
That still leaves me with why did 'Skid' get changed to white but not 'beowulf'

Re: Changing username colours.
Beowolf is and admin? Right?
His color is assigned from a group.
Go to Users and grups >> Admin grup >> Change the color if you want.

Yes. Your administrator group should be blue now. Change the color and press save.

Re: Changing username colours.
Make it a visible group. Stick visible and change the color.

Hey.... bingo.!!!!!
Nera, may I take this opportuniy to thank you for bearing with an old geezer. Many thanks for your support.
I'm still not sure what you meant by double or triple posts though.
Got another question about nav bar button colours but I'll start a new thread on that one.
Cheers,
Al.
