Founder Change, no founder email and pass for Servimg

I'd appreciate some help.

The founder left the forum, I am now the administrator.

I want to activate Servimg - but it seems I'm hitting a brick wall, as it asks for the password that was used when the forum was created!!!

I'd appreciate some help, as I can't contact the founder, and there's way too much work dropped into this forum to cancel and go again from square one.

Can you tell since when has the founder not logged into the forum?

Nope, I revamped day one. He was stepping out completely, and I got rid of members who were inactive for over a year - he was one of them.

On a plus - I was able to finally get a workaround for Servimg... but I still don't like that I can't access the forum utilities area. That's the one thing I can't do, and for when the day comes for me to pass the torch, I'd like to be able to do it properly.

I'm agreeing with Sanket. The founder account can not be deleted. So obviously the person you thought was the founder isn't that actualy founder or you never actually deleted the founder. Anyways if you can prove the Founder has not been on in 6 months and 1 day than you can ask all the moderators and such to give written consent to you being founder and it should be all good (as stated in the above posted link)

Well, I must have deleted the founder account -

The forum was built June 16 2009. The oldest other user is from June 29 2009.

There's only me as admin, there's no other mods.

Seems like something's going on.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to delete the founder account unless you delete the entire forum.

Apparently around 5 this morning I somehow changed some founder settings? But my password has been the same. I guess I must have been made founder - but I still can't get into the forum utilities area. I'm just getting really confused now.

The only way for you to be the founder is for the original founder giving you their account information ,or a member of staff here changed the account for you.

The founder's name was cspaur ( I don't want to put any more info than that for his privacy, though I would to a mod/admin via PM ).
