Non-clickable website address Empty Non-clickable website address

Post by cissi December 8th 2005, 3:27 pm

Hi,

I've been trying to post a website address on our forum without causing it to become a link, but failed. I tried checking the box "disable BBCode in this post" but it didn't work. How can I post a non-clickable website address?

If someone clicks on a link to another website on a forum, I understand this will create a direct link from the website statistics of that website to the forum in question. If the forum was private with access only for a specified group, would this be any different? Would the person clicking on the link to the private forum be refused access to the page?
