Virus warning with VLC pugin error on Profiles

I just made a new forum yesterday, and now when I click on someone's profile, there is a video under where the avatar goes with the following message:

"You are missing the plugin VLC to play videos"

This has just appeared, and when I click on it, i get warnings from my anti virus about Trojan virus attached.

Any ideas what this is, and how to remove this?

I refreshed the page, and it was replaced by an advert.
Im removing the adverts in a couple of days anyways, so I should be ok after that.
Strange that an advert would have trojan's attached, but anyways sorry to bother you.

If there is an issue on the same thing after I remove the adverts I'll let you know.
