We have a member who was banned for racist comments and for hacking an admin's email but he keeps registering and is causing HUGE problems. I've banned his IP but it changes, he uses many emails etc. Is there a way to see his IP before i activate his account, rather than when he makes his first post. PHPBB3

The only two ways are:

When you and that member are logged on, it will show on the first page of the administration panel (bottom right corner)

or

If that member makes a new post or replies to a post.

Yes, I am aware of that. But the problem is that we need him GONE. Like 403 permission banned. Maybe I can provide an IP range to an admin here to do it manually.

You just will have to keep an eye out for him/her and ban each account he/she creates.

1 month of none stop banning and about 15 accounts. he also hacked an administrators email and went on terrorizing members with PM's.

really you cant stop him,he can change his IP every time you ban him.Its a hacker thing,i do it all the time

My best shot would to be to talk to him,if you know your way of smooth talking you can make any hacker stop

We have tried, we are a racing community and he really wants to race. Our problem is that he gets political and racist and thinks that he owns the place just because we allowed him to make a few posts once. But usually when you call me a racist and a "cracker" and then go on to say that you really aren't black and that it was just a game, we don't want you on our forum.

We set conditions and everything, even limited his account.

This kid is persistent and is banned from atleast 10 other sites in our game's community.

hmmmm....if hes using a IP changer then thats probably not his real IP.

no, he just has a dynamic IP. If forumotion had IP Range blocking then it would be simple.

ex: 74.1.1.1.1.1
will turn to 74.1.1.1.12 etc
