Remove or customize Ads

I accidentally enabled the banner ad display thingy, and now can't get rid of the ad.

Is there something i'm doing wrong, I selected 'No' to display, but nothing is removed when I look at the display sample.

Right now, I don't want anything cluttering up the board, it looks terrible and very tacky with that as across the top, it takes away from the whole look and experience. I don't want to have to re do the whole thing... Help!

I also seem to have that problem, we didn't have ads yest we do today and NO is highlighted in the admin panel for customised ads.

General > config Allow banner ads = no, but there still there.

I don't have config in misc, I have board stats & sum of votes.

I still have a bunch of Google Ads on my site.

I just applied to adassociates with amazon and google about an hour ago, becuase I feel I should be compensated because their ads are on every page.
And the ads arent eve of the quality that I want for the (future) members of my site to see.

You have to login with the account which started the forum. Other admins can't see this.

It worked! I don't have the adds anymore by chosing NO (and validate).

It worked with me too
