    I'd love it if, during our typing in a new post or topic, it'll automatically save what you've typed down.
    Also, when you accidentally went back a page.
    When you go forward, everything you've written will still be there, it'll be recovered.

    I thought I should suggest this because for the past few days I have written in forumation forums, posting replies & topics, & sometimes my browser would reload & everything I've typed down would be gone!
    It's frustrating because I tend to write a lot, especially when I'm RPing & ideas start forming in my head & I get way into the typing...

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    EX. There's this one time, when I was making a topic on my own forum, an RP forum, & I was typing in the list of weapons that members can buy, & its sell/buy price (I used a calculator to determine the buy & sell price) & its description.
    And I made a mistake while typing, so I clicked my Backspace/Delete button on my keyboard to delete the mistake I typed, & my browser suddenly goes back a page. Evil or Very Mad
    I go forward & see the New Topic page, but everything that I've written down in the message body of the topic is gone! Completely erased! -_-
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Now, I know there are drafts, but I tend to forget & I'm sure some people do too.
    Also when you start a new topic you can't save a draft.

    I've been to other sites before that allowed automatic saving while typing a post or recovery when you've lost it, & I'd love to see forumation be able to do so too.

    Thank you for looking this over.
    I really appreciate it! n_n

    Evil or Very Mad
    Happened to me 6 times in under a week.
    One just happened to me a few minutes ago & I am so pissed off right now.

    *sigh*
    Why do I even bother to write so freaking much. -_-
    Sometimes I feel like I should just give up.
    Please have automatic saving & recovering of posts. Thank you...

    Cheer up mate, we all have those days!

    Autosaving is a great idea, voted yes.

    I always suggest our members write up their posts in notepad, word or eqiv. so they won't lose them if there's a 'server hiccup'. There's a lot of great text editors that do auto-save so even if your computer crashes you can get your work back.

    But you know there's always going to be members who don't and will lose their work. Which for us roleplayers is forever a headache and a half!

    Also, if you've got firefox, there's an addon that I use now called Lazarus: Form Recovery.

    It's great and works wonders for me, check it out Smile

    YES! YES! YES! A MILLION TIMES YES! This is THE number one problem on the forums, and when you have people that can rarely get on and make every post count this would help them out big time! Also this will help for when posts don't post after you hit send. so when can we see this in action!? lol Very Happy
