Solved google custom search

Hi, I want to add my google custom search to my forum, I have already got the code, but I want to make it so it replaces the proper search bar, with my custom page, I know how to change the URL, but when I create a new HTML page, then click preview, it only comes up with a blank page, called, 'Blank Page'. Please can you help me, because I don't want to use the regular search.
