Well i need help making a HTML intro page so when you go to to my site it takes you to the intro page before you can access my forum

Can you please change the title of your problem from something like “Help, Urgent, Few questions, Problems, SOS” to something more related to your query/problem.

Your changing the title to something related to the problem will help users who will use the search feature on this forum to solve a similar problem. This way, your problem will be a solution for someone else’s problem.

There, also i don't know if what i'm saying is correct but on a few other forum sites i go to, they have a page before you access the forum

In ACP>>modules>>HTML page management..you make a HTML page... You could browse the web for suitable script or get help/script from someone who here who can write something appropriate for your forum... and save

and in ACP>>Display>>Homepage>>Generalities...you select the option

your forum redirects to:-- a HTML page and save Smile

Yeah that's true if you want to do that follow this steps:

Ap>Modules>Html pages management>Create new Html page.

Do you wish to use your forum header and footer?
That's your one choice press "No" to make your own page with html, and
Press "Yes" for your forum header and footer you got.

Use this page as homepage?
Press "yes"

i think i did that but nothing happened.

You have to give the script a tittle when you see an asterisk '*' it means you have to write something, did the script you wrote save with the tittle you gave it? an example of HTML script https://developer.mozilla.org/en/svg_in_html_introduction
it should look something like that. You use an HTML editor with error checking to write HTML

i named the first one home page and entered this as code <BODY BGCOLOR=black>

but, i think i'm doing something wrong in the code

Yes, you would have to get advice in the scripting/coding forum..Put a post in there it would seem that you're only embedding an animated gif with that code
and your page has no header or on-click to return to the forum index once read

explain there what you're trying to achieve and what you need to do to correct the HTML Smile

Yeah, i don't even have a clue what i'm doing and i'm getting irritated by it.
