Questions about smilies & Chatbox

Hello and thanks for reading. I have a few questions

1) Smilies

I am in my admin panel and I see Categories 1-5
for Smiles 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5

is there a way to access more smileys? Like the smileys you guys have on the left hand side?

I see in the admin panel there are like 4 or 5 pages of smileys but i can't access most of those
in chat or or on the forum.

2) The chatbox on my site(and most forumotions) is decent but i was looking for an alternative.
I heard of Xat chat but i heard mixed reviews for that.

I was curious in trying ajax chat but i have very little experience so is Ajax hard to make for the forums?

Are there any alternatives?

What do you mean Ajax chat? Ajax isn't a brand or company its language (well its not a language its a branch of a language, two languages, im not exxplaining it lol).

You'll be lucky to find a chat box which works with Ajax for forumotion, due to the fact we can not add files to our server, and there would need to be a PHP file to write into another document. (the document which would store the messages)
