Can't log in. Locked out...

I desaperately need help. I am the un original Administrator of the forums. I took it over several years back. I have been having log in problems. I changed my password a week ago, and, it worked until today. I now can't log in, and, when I try to change my password, the system refuses log in saying settings are changed so I may not change my password. Even my old password no longer works. Please help.

I'm sorry, but, that thread did me no good. Here is the message I get.
The security 'Disallow admin to send new password' is active in Admin Panel > General Admin > Security

Please, somebody help me clear this problem. I have no way to get in to fix it myself.

Problem solved. I was finally able to log back in, and, get to Administration panel. I fixed the problems, and, changed password.
