Still locked out

You sent me a new pw (1914c) that worked..I went in and changed pw (57dsmith)
I tried to go in te next day and still get inactive user or wrong pw. I was away for a long time but want to get forum back active..Please Help..

Buttercup will be out of the office until tommorow morning.
If your the Founder you can reset your password by following the steps in this tutorial: https://help.forumotion.com/t127211-password-problems-or-lost-your-founder-s-password

Tanks yep as the lock on were wont send email...and I dont think it updated te email wen I went into admin to update everything...So if Buttercup can help when she gets back tat would be great!! Thanks So much

Follow that tutorial... Buttercup is not THE only one who can reset passwords! I recommend reading and following that tutorial.

you could click on forgot password and it will send youa reset link to your email that you used and voila, you can create a new password

oh ok, did he try junk or spam mail and depends on what email service he have

I would not post my email address on a PUBLIC forum. I removed the email addresses from your first post for your safety.

Just follow the tutorial... it is the easiest and quickest way.

I think it kept me at inactive user..not sure..but here is the  error msg
You have specified an incorrect or inactive username, or an invalid password.
Again...I have tried the tutorials.. I dont know if its my slow connection or what but I cant get anything to work
