Home page?

I want to have a home page from my forum. instead of going to the forum ill take me to a page where i can post news & announcements . also have a home button on the nav. im not sure if this is possible though.

Can you show some homepage you saw and liked? Annonouncments can be also added to portal and that can be your homepage, or you can make an HTML page to be your homepage.

It depends on what do you want to acchieve.

I did not quite get you for the button? If you mean that you want to add the new Homepage to your navigation you'll go to:

AP > Display > Headers and navigation > Add a customised menu

They have a homepage where they can post announcements and stuff.

You can always, create a portal.

Thanks, but how can i make it so only i know what threads are posted in the portal?

Theres a widget you add that's call, "News". You can choose, what forums post or threads to be shown in the portal. You can remove them, by locking them.

now i have another problem. when i click on my forum icon it takes me right to the portal. how can i change this.?
