how do i get tickers on the home page, and poll of the day on home page, and other stuff?

i seen alot of forumotion pages with tickers on homepage, and poll of the day on their homepages too. i was wondering if anybody know how to get them, or what settings to change?

Hello,
Do you mean an html page?

Or the portal of a forum?

You can add widgets { polls } to your portal page.

ACP=>Modules Tab=>Portal & Widgets=>Portal management=>Choose portal and press "Structure"=>Find a poll widget,and add it to your portal=>Save
