If you are talking about the new features(updates) that Forumotion makes, then no. All updates will be done automatically and will appear in your admin panel once they are made.If this isn't what you were talking about, then give us more details in order to help you.

Like I said above, all the new features from Forumotion will appear automatically in your admin panel. So you don't need to do any updates.
