white pages

We are having difficulty when in firefox with messages and posts only showing for a short time - then, going to white page.
Here is an example of one topic

We had the same problem several months ago. I believe someone from here reported it, and it was fixed until now.
Thank you,
Felicity

Hello,
I can access your forum and the topic completely using Firefox and Google Chrome without any loading problems, here's a proof, the first part message of that topic is this one:
Have you tried instructing them to clear their cache or cookies?

Okay you may have to split topics while being a moderator so I'm going to try to do a tutorial that you can look back on it if you get confused. Hope I make sense and if you need any more help or if I don't explain it good enough, let me know, okay.
What is splitting a topic mean: Splitting a topic means that you are either wanting to move a post out of the middle or bottom of a thread that is already made. You can either move only one post or one post and all those below it.
Let's use the idea of if somebody posts a application in the "New members apply here" thread. Please remember this is something that your are supposed to do if you see a new post in that thread because we don't want new member's applications on the board.
First you would go to that thread and open it. Then you would go to the bottom of the screen and click on the split topic button.
Have you tried instructing them to clear their cache or cookies?

Re: white pages
Yes, and it still is not working for me or others who have tried.
Problem being that it is no t just this post, but also happening in the mailboxes with pm's. We are getting complaints.
Am not so sure why it worked for you. Appreciated and I will keep an eye on it to see if it clears up.

Re: white pages
I am not sure what is going out as I visited your forum, and did not have any problems (used Google Chrome), do you have any Javascript or jQuery codes in place on your forum. This might also be causing the problem.
This also reminds me of something that the Forumotion Techies dealt with sometime ago, something went wrong but it immediately was fixed, hopefully your problems will get solved soon. However, I'm not lying, you forum worked fine for me.

Re: white pages
What browsers are you and your members using? How many days since this problem appeared again your forum? Does the problem still persists until now? Also, may I know how the problem occurs, so when members try to open up topics or posts their replies, it goes to white page? Same thing with opening PM's? Thanks!felicity4us2 wrote:Yes, and it still is not working for me or others who have tried.

Re: white pages
That one post is still doing the same thing and the pm's that it happened with.
Now, I went to IE and copied the code from the post and pasted it into new post. It does the same - goes to white page in firefox. Though the post is only using image codes, it may be something in the code that firefox doesn't like?
Thank you.

Re: white pages
Hi,
Ive spent a fair amount of time, at several times of today, and I cannot completely replicate the issue. After 4x30 Min sessions on your forum, I cannot get it to go to a white page, unless, I click specifically on your supplied link on how to split a topic. When i go via that link, I DO get a white page, and the linked text "Actions"
This is on firefox AND Internet Explorer 9.
To me, it may be simply bad scripting, so lets check out your JavaScripts
Admin panel >> Modules > Javascripts.
If there's anything there, you should see a button option to disable them, click on yes.
What happens?
If there's anything you don't like happening, you can simply re-activate them, and remove each one at a time, making sure you have a copy of each too.

Re: white pages
Is it only that topic thats posted.
If so you have some code in there trying to redirect somewhere?
The page goes white and just continues to try to load.
I am using firefox .. so dunno why it's not happening for the other guys, but is doing it to me to.. also whatever the blue Action link is on the top left of the page3. It dose not seem to go anywhere either?

If it's only happening in that one post, then it has to be some sort of bad coding that is causing it. As far as the other parts of your forum, it seems to be fine. I will check with my other browsers as well.
Info added
Interesting?
For Safari,IE ,and Google Chrome it works fine.
For Firefox,Flock and Opera. it goes to the MAIN page, and a couple seconds latter turns into the white screen with the screen shot above, I am not sure? It has to be some sort of coding conflicting. Like you have a redirection thing in there but it's not redirecting and just continues to try to connect/load
