Is there any way to add a membership option

Is there a way to make a membership option? For example, on the game(s) I will be use this forum for could someone purchase a membership and get special items or special permissions. I know how to code the game and all but is there a way i could code a auto membership instead of having to do it threw paypal and manually doing it?

i want them to be able to auto purchase it from the forums. Ill add it to the game so it will not have to have unnecessary coding.
