music from youtube

is it ok to post links to music from youtube on my forum or will that fall into copyright category?

it's just links i don't allow embed on the forum.

We can't have a general rule.
Depending on the content. For porn content for example, it's forbidden on Forumotion's forum, even if it's just a Youtube video.

The TOS are clear enough I think, just check this if you have any doubt

Im just tell member to stick to official channel videos and tell mod to look out for anything that is not official to remove it

well i dont want to drag this on any longer then it need to be.

But anything porn is within a category of it's self which is not allowed period.

To where copyrighted content on YouTube can be argued because it is YouTube reasonability to remove any such content that may be in violation and maintain their site.

The same way forumotion, facebook myspace etc.. would be obligated to deleted or remove any accounts that may be in violations with their TOS.
Once again youtube provides options to be posted on forums websites blogs,facebook etc..

Aslo youtube now has a new international copyright privileges with most of the movie and music industry companies.. This means most are allowing the rights for content to be on YouTube so long as it says who it is from and also has links leading to buy music/movies.This is automatically generated from youtube when the content is uploaded. Then Some youtube content embedded or posted on other sites, A company may not allow the rights.. Then a message would come up saying you can only view this content on YouTube.
