Chatbox fonts keep randomly changing

Hi, this has been a problem on my site for a while. On my chatbox, the fonts in the 'online' and 'away' list keep changing between Georgia and Verdana. I used a code to change them to verdana a while ago, but something must have been wrong, since they switch very often, like every few minutes. I'll show you an example of what I mean:


See in the first pic, the @ sign is the font Georgia. In the second pic, it changes to the right font, and it gives it a glow, which it should have.
Another thing that happens is when members are in away, their whole username changed fonts.
Any help?

Did you delete the code to change the font into Verdana?

That code changed the Georgia to Verdana, now it's the font sizes that are changing. The glows on out @ signs keep going away and coming back too xP
I figured out a code to fix the size, and it worked, but what about the glow? My @ sign should be white with a purple glow, but for some reason it switches between that and solid purple

Okay, what if I only want it on 2 users, the admins?

No, it's like that for all members. It's also been this way for a long time, I just decided to deal with it today.
I'm pretty sure all I need now is a code for changing the color of the @ sign and the @ signs glow in the online and away box, and I'll be good
