Forum shows background instead of white page thing

I got this problem.
i changed the background and now you see the background and i like this to have a white colour but still keep the background

you see, area (red circle thing) i want that white. but you see the background of it.
Like this,

instead of seeing the grey background i want to see that white colour, or any other colour which i want to change too

In your CSS look for "BODY" and in there look for "background-colour" and change the colour that follows that. (i.e #38577 is a dark blue, if you change to #ffffff you will get white.) Remember to write down the original colour number so you can go back if you do not like the change!

Edit: The whole background will go white.
