phpbb3 to phpbb2

is it possible to go back to version 2 of phpbb if i'm already in version 3? will it screw up my forum's appearance?

any help guide here?

i want to be able to change my template and i read somewhere in the forum that to do so i would need to buy points then change template but i would need to be in phpbb2.

By "PHPBB 2" they mean the "Old Version", when PHPBB 3 came out PHPBB 2 was kept because of the errors, I use PHPBB 2 myself.

However you want to know how to do this, and it really is easy:

Go to your "Administration Panel".
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see a link saying "Old Version" click on that link.

The page will now change, and you are in PHPBB 2!
