How to create subforums in site?????

when you create a new forum (Admin Panel / Forum / Management), you can choose where it should be attached to. In this dropdown menu you simply choose the forum and the position.

do you know if there's a way to make that sub forum "invisible"? As in, you don't see it unless you go into the forum that it's a sub forum of.

You can change that from admin panel=>General=>Homepage=>Hierarchy and look for this option "Split categories on index :" and choose Medium.

I don't have any Hierarchy thing anywhere. I have a Homepage section, but then there's barely anything there, it's just General, Metatags Administration, Forums Directory, and Homepage Message. And there's nothing about Hierarchy under any of those categories.

The Hierarchy tab can be found in the navigation on the left side.
