Chatbox log-in

Is there anyway to extend the amount of time we can remain log-in the chatbox before it auto signs us out? This will enable my members to go on with other tasks on there computer while remaining logged in the chatbox to receive messages.

Auto log in would be swell too but I dont think that is possible.

With the current ChatBox, it is not possible to extend the time in which you're logged in for nor can you add an automatic log in.

Personally, I used a third party chat on another server for my forum because our members were a little annoyed with the 15 minute timeout. If you can afford some cheap hosting, Ajax Chat usually works well for most user's needs. Unfortunately, as said above, there is not really much you can do about the 15 minute timeout with the forumotion chatbox.
