Fake Report "Abuses"

So I've been reading today about forums receiving report abuses that are false.

I too today have one and I'm quite concerned that someone is going around Forumotion forums and hitting the "Report Abuse" button and sending false reports to the administrators of the sites.



I mean I have nothing on my forum that is copyrighted and I feel that this issue needs to be raised as someone is evidently going around and submitting false reports.

I mean if anyone wants to take a look around my forum, my forum link is on my profile at the side. I don't think I have anything copyrighted.

I have had a similar report that i am violating terms of service but i am not in any way.

Well violating the terms of service is a little different than what I'm talking about. Does what you got look like what I have in my first screenshot?

Yeah the reason I asked was because if it was something official by forumotion then I didn't want you to be under the impression it wasn't something serious as a warning issued via the ACP by Forumotion is usually for something serious whereas this isn't.

I have same report, and same reason.

Maybe someone writte that for all forums what find...

I have one too its saying " This website violates in any other way the terms of service."

Its also on my index page leading me to belive that there just reporting random Forums Via their home page!

Troll. Just ignore that. And wait for someone from staff there. They maybe know.

Yeah I got one of those messages too. It must be some fool running around clicking the abuse links on forums.

I think we need stronger security defences to disallow certain people, probably through IP address from using this, as I received two false reports on that day.

I hope their IDs can be detected by the forumotion staff and be banned!
