Help needed for Portal

I dont know how to do it and i have seen in some forums that when a register user login in portal the user is able to see his post,private message and can visit his profile through portal.....is there any codeor something else.....can anybody help......thanks in advance

Like this:-

Go to admin panel=>Modules=>Portal & Calendar=>Portal pages management and click on the "Structure" button. Now look for this module "log in" from the "Addition of existing modules" section and click the "Add the module" button.
