How to add a GIF smilie on your forum via iPad? (I'm admin)
Listen... I mean, read carefully:
I need a computer to download/save GIFs (moving pictures/animations), and my computer is broken right now, so I can't download/save GIFs.
I have an iPad Mini, and I'm unable to save GIFs on my iPad Mini.
I go to Admin Panel --> Display --> Smilies
Then I want to add a GIF smilie (not a still/not-moving one), and I have a GIF ready.
So what I want is to be able to find a GIF smiley, like this one, and I want to be able to copy the link and paste it into the add-a-smiley section, just like I can with buttons and icons in the Pics Management section.
I can copy and paste a GIF-link in the Pics Management section, but in the Smiley section, you have to upload the image, and I can't download the GIF and upload it there, then it will just be still and not moving!
Please help!

Is there a way to put in smilies without downloading them or something??

Are you by chance using a viewtopic_body template that's from the last editor? The pictures tend to be bugged if you're using the outdated version of it (Happened to me too)

What does the viewtopic_body template has to do with uploading smilies?

Well, your topic says can't post o.O
Anyway, there's no other way because smilies code are checked and it has to have a unique ID.

I'm sorry but as mentioned above by Kaizer Lee... this just isn't possible. You have to save the GIF and upload it. If you can't currently do that... Wait until you get on an actual computer because there is no other way. Perhaps you could suggest an alternative way though.
