posts that are being moved

one of my admins advised me that she moved a topic to another forum and it disappeared completely. this has happened to another member to. they seem to be deleting instead of being moved to the correct destination.
suggestions plz on how to fix this up...thank you

Please check here: ACP --> General --> Security --> Scroll down until you see the admin logs --> Switch to moderation --> See if the topic has been deleted on purpose.

oh gosh yes it was...is there anyway of getting rid of the delete button? tyvm


its ok I found where I can hide the delete button...thanks for your help

Go to ACP --> Display --> Pics Management --> Advanced --> Buttons --> Delete this post --> Hide --> Tick Box --> Save
Go to ACP --> Display --> Pics Management --> Advanced --> Icons for topics --> Delete this topic --> Hide --> Tick Box --> Save

I'd suggest you save the link that's in the box to somewhere on your forum or even to your forums gallery because when you tick the hide box, it will remove the image from the forum.

if possible can you plz leave this topic open. my admin who is having problem may come in. I found out that the topic that she did delete was not the one she was looking for. As I said one of the members tried to move a topic yesterday and it disappeared on her and I do not see it as being deleted. so it has vanished someplace. I did a search on the topic name and nothing came up for it.
