message link not working right Empty message link not working right

At the top of the forum, the link that tells you when you've got new messages - for days now mine has been saying 'You have no new messages(1)' so you HAVE got messages - you click on it and it takes you to your new messages but it keeps saying 'You have no new messages' and the number of new mails in brackets.

Is there anything I can do to fix this - I thought it might have been because of the new changes but I'd hoped that it would have been fixed by now. Thanks for any help from anyone!

The techs are currently working on this right now to fix it as far as I know.
