What is a basket?

The title is pretty self explanatory

Hello,

A basket is a place for unwanted topics, when you enable it you choose a forum to put the topics in and a moderator button appears to move the topic into the basket.

Right, thanks. While i'm here could you tell me what the 'Close topic for new reports' button does (I know what the Report This Post button does but im not quite sure what this one does).

Ah right thanks. Just to save me writing a new topic, on these support forums, how do I change my email?

Also, when I enable a basket,can i have it so all posts/topics automatically sent there when the users delete posts?

go to administration panel user and forum settings then check yes for allow user to change email. Then go to profile then change your email.

That won't help poopsicle, mimo, just ask a moderator to move the post to the basket.

And about email changes in this support forum, you must send a PM to one of us and you must give the new email address you want to use.

Oh so the Basket doesn't act as a sort of recycle bin but more of a 'useless topics' forum. That's a shame becuase I sometimes get users who accidently delete posts and ask me if they can get them back. So there is no way to do this?

Sorry Mimo, but if the user delete's a post, well, that's his/her bad luck.
As you noticed, the basket is basically like a trash can. You can see in this forum, 'Garbage' is our basket here
