Is it possible to create an assistant administrator with limited admin capability

Description of problem

By the (inactive) owner decree there may be one (and only one) forum administrator.
I was under the impression that there existed an "Assistant Administrator" position within forumotion but can't find information about it.
Is it possible to set a member up so that they have limited administrator capability? Hopefully that will satisfy the owner requirement.
If so would you point me to the documentation.

Unfortunately there is no way to limit an Admins power. The only thing different from the founder of the forum, to another admin is they can't by credits or spend them and a couple of minor permissions are withheld.

Other than that they can do everything the founder can.

Okay, given that - is there a level (group?) of user who can change the forum layout without being an administrator?

No sadly the layout and skin to the forum is all done by the ACP
only Admin's and founders can change this.

one thing Derri forgot to point out is only founders can see the templates tools on the ACP other Admin's can not see or use them tools.

I also have another forum ( a MyBB forum ) different from the one we're discussing where I can create an "admin" user and then dis/allow what they can do as an admin and expected a similar ability in forumotion.

Given what you've told me, I guess I need to drop back - a lot - and punt.
