Making people register -- need help plz

Hi .... on my forum, i would like to make it so that when a non registered member goes to the forum, the page that comes up is not the actual forum, but a log in screen ... stating that in order to view the forum, you will need to log in (or register)... is this possible to do??

You can't make a login page automatically come up, but you can change the permissions so that members can only see a certain amount of boards.

Yes I think you can or You can change it so that no guests can read or see the contents of your forum and instead has to register to do so.Obviously they will see the front cover of your forum,but not inside.You could set it so that guests see none of your forum inside,or certain parts

For them not to see the forum itself go to

Admin Panel ....Forum Admin/management...click permissions at the top.

and click on each forum ,..where it says view,click Members,so that only members can see the actual forum.
