Exclude a Forum from the Last Topics Scroller Empty Exclude a Forum from the Last Topics Scroller

Post by Backwoods Jay April 15th 2008, 10:25 pm

Hey, I allow my users to post Calendar Events which correspond with upcoming activities, etc.

Here's the problem:

When someone posts a new event, the post shows up in the Last Topics scroller on the Portal. If you click on the link from there, it simply opens the post and gives you no indication that it's a calendar event. This makes for some confusing posts at times.

Is there a way to exclude the forum which is linked to my calendar from showing up in the Last Topics scroller?

Thanks,
Jay

Well, it´s not possible to exclude a forum from the Last Topics modul.....
But what you can do is allow only Admins to see the forum with the calendar events. Then your "normal" users can no longer see the calender events on the portal.

greetz,
alex
