Password Protected Forums

Is there a way to Password Protect a forum?

I know you can set it a way for only a certain group to see it,but I have a forum id like to password protect.

There isn't a way to do that. I think this may have been suggested, I know for sure it has been talked about somewhat recently.

There is a way to do this...give permissions to specific user or a group to view restricted forum...like on pic below
