could some one please advise and help me

I don't want to spam and get myself into all sorts of trouble, here but I'm desperate and in need of help once and for all!!

Could a few of you please take a look at my Fourm and help me by suggesting what I could do to improve it and finally get it up and running like everyone else's? I know My fourm is terrible to say the least and there's only one member.....Me! How do I build a Proper front home page? How can I expand on my chosen topics? It'll be boring and uneventful if I'm the only one posting there!
