sticky problem [Solved]

I posted a sticky message on my forum but the message appear below the the normal posts. Is there a way to set the sticky and announcement messages to show above normal messages? How do I do that?

P.S. I'm using phpbb2. I wonder if that might affect the position of the sticky and announcement messages.

Go to admin panel=>General=>Configuration=>Configuration and look for this option " Separate announcements and stickies from the messages" and choose "With a table" or "with a line" depending on the one you like more.
