Adds on my forum

I have a problem what I cant seam to sort out. It's been on my site for almost a month and its the ADVERTS. I have them showing on the forum for Guests and didn't activate them and cant seam to get rid of them!!!

All the settings for adds show they are disabled but I still have them on my forum...

Hi Dave

This is normal; adds are activated for guests.
To remove these, you'll need to buy points which can then be spent to remove the adds

Ahh you are joking. I thought putting adds made you some points and now you have to spend money to remove them? Is this not strange!!!

I didn't get any adds when I started the forum and all of a sudden I get lumbered with stupid adverts what makes my site look cheap!

One way to make money I suppose.

Thank you so much for your help...

It has worked for me also and think its wrong of the forum team to try and make you pay for adds to be removed off your own forum.
I think they should give notice or implement it for the new members who create a forum after they bring it in.
If I signed up to a forum that said banner adds will be displayed then fine but come on lads we didn't did we!

Anyhow its sorted and thats my rant done and dusted!

Can anyone help me again? I have got banner adds on my forum www.qsouk.com and don't have a section in my old panel to disable them.

They took the option away. Ads are now part of the users forums. You have to pay 2k credits to remove them for 1 year
